There are different ways your visitors can access files shared via your microsite. Embeds and native file previewers, such as those for Presentations, PDFs, images, and videos, may show an option to download a copy of the file. Hypertexts can also be used to directly download files to your computer.

Download links for your files can be generated by third-party hosting services such as Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. Moreover, download links for the files in your Media Library can also be created from the site editor.

For now, only Media Library assets file types can be created with a downloadable link.

To generate a download link for a Media Library asset:

  1. Select the text you want to create a download link for;

  2. Click the Edit Link button from the text editor menu;

  3. Under the Create Link section in the left editing pane, select Download Media;

  4. Under the Edit Downloadable Media, click Select file.

  5. Navigate to, and select the file to be shared.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Select the preferred Style and/or Button type.

  8. Click Save.
