An overlay, lightbox, or modal window allows website creators to provide additional information or media without requiring visitors to leave the current page or context. It appears on top of the existing content, with a translucent background that helps highlight the overlay.
Different types of media can be displayed as an overlay on your Zoomforth site. For example, clicking a video tile can open a video playback window, while an image tile can display an expanded version of the image. Hyperlinks can also be configured to open content such as HTML packages or PDFs in an overlay.
To open hyperlinks in an overlay:
In the site editor, highlight the text you want to link.
In the text editor at the top, click Edit Link.
In the Create Link section, select Expand Media.
Click Select file, then choose the media you want to display in an overlay.
Click OK, then click Save.
