A hero section is the prominent, visually impactful section at the top of a site, typically positioned directly below the logo and navigation menu. It is designed to capture visitors’ attention and communicate the main message or purpose of the site or presentation.
A hero video uses a high-quality video as the background of the section, helping establish the visual tone of the site and create an engaging first impression.
To add a hero video to your site
Create a grid section.
In the left editing panel, scroll to the Background settings at the bottom.
Select Video.
In the Media Library, search for the video you want to use.
Alternatively, upload a video from your local computer.
Create an empty text tile within the section.
Apply a transparent Style Preset to the tile.
The video will display as the background of the grid section, while the transparent tile can be used to position content over the video.
