Sites that have their Visitor Access settings set to email-based authentication will automatically capture your visitor's name and email addresses for analytics.

However, in line with the draft EU e-Privacy Regulation 2021, and the California Consumer Privacy Act, site visitors located in the EU, UK, and California can manage their privacy preferences. This may result in anonymous visitors showing in the analytics, due to visitors requesting to remain anonymous.
