Create Anchor Links and Arrange Subpages in Your Navigation Menu

Build a navigation menu using anchor links that scroll to sections. Covers creation, ordering, and styling.

Overview

An anchor link is a navigation tool. It’s a link in the navigation menu of your site that takes a viewer to a specific tile or content on your site. This allows viewers to quickly navigate to specific points on a longer site or to different sections. The purpose of an anchor link is to highlight important content within your site and help viewers navigate to it quickly.

How to Create an Anchor Link

  1. In the left panel of the site editor, click the subpage where you want to add an anchor link.

  2. Select +Anchor link.

  3. Enter a title for the anchor link.

  4. In the Destination Content field, click Choose Content.

  5. Select the content (tile or section) on the subpage that you want to create the anchor link for.

  6. Click Done, then click Create Anchor Link.

How to Arrange Subpages in Your Navigation Menu

  1. In the left panel, under Navigation, select the subpage you want to rearrange.

  2. Click and drag the subpage to a different position to change the order.

Note: The order of the tabs from top to bottom determines the order in which they appear from left to right in the navigation menu of your site.
