Copy and paste a tile, section, or subpage

Duplicate tiles, sections, or subpages by copying to clipboard and pasting in the same or a different site.

Permission required: Account Administrator, Content Administrator, Editor, or Author

Zoomforth allows you to copy tiles, sections, and subpages within a site. You can also paste copied elements into a different Zoomforth site, making it easy to reuse existing content and layouts.

When you copy an element, it is stored in your clipboard until you paste it. After copying it, you can paste it into any subpage, and even on another Zoomforth site!​

Tile or Section

Copy a tile or section

  1. Click on the tile or section that you want to copy

  2. In the left editing panel, click on the Copy button (You'll then see a green notification at the upper right, "Copied tile/section to clipboard")

Paste a tile

1. Click the destination grid section where you want to paste the tile.

2. Click + Add Tile.

3. Select Paste Tile from the Add New Tile menu.

Paste a section

1. Go to the destination subpage where you want to paste the section.

2. Click the + Section button. For subpages with at least one section, the + Section button shows up when you hover at the top or at the bottom of the existing section.

3. Select Paste Section from the Add New Section menu.

Copy a subpage

  1. At the left editing panel, click Edit on the subpage you want to copy

  2. Click on the Copy button (You'll then see a green notification at the upper right, "Copied subpage to clipboard")

  3. Click Save

Paste a subpage on the same site

1. Click the dropdown arrow next to the + Subpage, which is found at the upper left editing panel of the site editor.

2. Select Paste Subpage. This option only shows up in the dropdown list if the subpage is in the clipboard yet.

Paste a subpage to another Zoomforth site

1. Log in to the site editor of the target site.

2. Click the drop-down arrow next to the + Subpage, which is found in the upper left editing panel of the site editor.
3. Select Paste Subpage. This option only shows up in the drop-down list if the subpage is in the clipboard yet.
