In-site search gives visitors a quick way to find content across your site using keywords. When enabled, a Search icon appears in the upper-right corner of the site.
By default, content on subpages is included in search results unless it has been hidden from search. You can learn more about this in Show or Hide Subpage Content from In-Site Search Results.
Enable or disable in-site search
In the Site Editor, click Edit in the upper-left corner, next to the site title.
In the left editing panel, select the Content tab.
Select or clear the Show search icon checkbox:
Selected: The Search icon is displayed on your site.
Cleared: The Search icon is hidden from your site.
Click Done Editing to save your changes.
