Arranging a grid so that it works well on both desktop and mobile can sometimes be challenging. Mobile Order Priority lets you control the order in which tiles appear on smaller screens without changing their order on desktop.
By default, tiles on mobile follow the desktop grid order from left to right, top to bottom. You can override this behavior by assigning a Mobile Order Priority value to individual tiles.
Set the Mobile Order Priority
In the Site Editor, select the tile you want to reorder.
Open the Mobile tab.
Locate Mobile Order Priority.
Enter the priority value you want to assign to the tile.
Repeat these steps for any other tiles you want to reorder.
How Mobile Order Priority Works
By default, every tile has a Mobile Order Priority value of 0.
When you assign different priority values:
Tiles with higher values appear before tiles with lower values.
Tiles with the same priority value maintain their order from the desktop grid.
You can use positive or negative numbers, including values such as 1, 0, or -1.
Tiles with the same priority are grouped together and continue to follow the desktop grid order within that group.
For example, if your tiles are arranged on desktop as:
[A - B - C]
and all tiles have a priority of 0, the mobile order will also be:
[A - B - C]
Keep Mobile and Desktop Layouts in Sync
Mobile Order Priority is most useful when you want the mobile layout to differ slightly from the desktop layout.
If multiple tiles have the same priority, their order on mobile will continue to follow the desktop grid. This means you only need to assign priorities to the tiles you want to move, while changes to the desktop layout will still be reflected on mobile for tiles within the same priority group.
