A table is a grid of rows and columns that presents organized data so the site viewers can quickly read it. The tabular presentation not only helps readers understand and process information but also helps the site author simplify the delivery of content.
Table interface designs optimize the overlay usability of what data is being presented. Some elements of a table can also be customized from the site editing level, such as cell background color, alignment, row and column count, etc.
To change the background color of a cell:
Navigate to the table you wish to edit.
Click the cell, or group of cells, to change the background color of;
Click the Cell Background button from the pop-up editing menu bar.
Click the preferred color from the selector.
Other table elements can be customized from the theme editor by simply searching for the related variables available, such as font style, border, cell height, margin, etc.
