You can create a link any time from the Sites Dashboard. To learn how, watch the video below or continue reading for step by step instructions:

You can create a new link from your Site Details view in the Links tab, by clicking the + Create New Link button. You will also be prompted to create a link after publishing a site for the first time. Learn more about Publishing a Site here.

Create a Link without Advanced Settings

If you want to create a basic link to your site and do not care about who the target audience is then you can keep the settings below:

The Link Creator pop-up window (below) shows the name of the site you are creating a link for in the upper left, so you can be sure your link is for the correct site.

You can set the URL for your site and click Create Link. This will create a link with the default settings (and without a Link Name.)

Create Advanced Settings

Advanced settings give you options whether users will need to provide their name and email to view it, and if you will receive email notifications for activity.

Note: you can change some of these settings later in the Link Settings view in your Link Details dashboard.

You'll now be prompted to share your link with the world.

Sending to an Individual or Group

If you choose to send a link to an individual, and specify their name and/or email then Zoomforth can track when and how that visitor visits and interacts with your site.

It's important to understand how tracking works before creating a link. Please learn about How Links are Tracked in Zoomforth.

Give Your Link a Name

We encourage all users to give their links specific, unique names. No visitors will ever see this information—it's only to help you remember the purpose of the link, so you can be as creative as you like.

Names will not only help you keep your dashboard better organized, but they'll help you maintain clean data, which empowers you to make better decisions about improving your site or your targeting.

For example, if you made a recruiting site for an engineering role, and were sharing it on different websites, you'd want to create different links for each site. Then when you're checking on engagement with your site, you'll be able to identify which sites were the source of the site activity.

Learn more about your activity feed here.

Ask for Visitor Name and Email

You can force visitors to this site via this link to enter their name and email before viewing the site.

Email Notifications

Email notifications will keep you up to date as new users visit your link. Each visit to the site will send you a new email letting you know about the activity so you can react accordingly.

Sites with links will appear with an active Share button, whereas sites without links have the Share button disabled.
